Located in Le Tholy, only 15 kms from Gérardmer, JP Vacances is a 4-star campsite open all year that will make you fall in love with Lorraine and the Vosges! The well-tended 3-hectare site is a lush, flower-decked holiday venue where respect for the environment is reflected in the pervading sense of well-being, peace and relaxation. There are several types of accommodation available. Campers have a choice of 70 unusually large grassy pitches (90 to 150 sq. metres) in the shade of trees (there are 40 different varieties), some with a panoramic view of the Vosges mountains. If you prefer holiday lets, however, there are 12 well-appointed chalets, all fully equipped and all with deck and plenty of privacy, for 4 or 6/8 people. As a 4-star campsite, JP Vacances offers numerous services and amenities - heated swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, boules pitch, badminton, kids’ playground, WiFi access, snack-bar, luxury toilet blocks etc. This leaves you plenty of time to concentrate on your holidays and well-being during your stay in Lorraine. Try walking (with or without a guide), mountain biking and horse riding in summer, and skiing in Gérardmer and La Bresse or snowshoe treks, tobogganing and cross-country skiing in winter. You can also explore all that the region has to offer e.g. Gérardmer and its lake, the Valley of Lakes, the Ballons des Vosges Country Park, the Alsace Wine Trail etc. Not forgetting a walk round the delightful village of Le Tholy, home to the campsite.

En hiver, un peu difficile de profiter de la terrasse. Le chalet est agréable, la cheminée est appréciable pour se chauffer et donner un cachet supplémentaire. L'avantage du chalet 4 est que le stationnement est juste à coté du logement.

Très bon séjour au camping. Le petit chalet est joli et propre. Très petit pour 4, on pensait qu'il y aurait 2 chambres mais bon ce n'était pas trop gênant pour 1 semaine. Le camping est très bien, très joli, beaucoup d équipements dont la piscine. Tout le monde est très gentil et la patronne à l écoute et serviable. Des petites ballades à faire à pieds autour du camping. Bref nous conseillons ce camping qui est très bien et proche de Gerardmer.
Un petit rafraîchissement du fond de la piscine et ouvrir le snack car il est restait fermé durant toute la semaine ce qui est dommage car il aurait pu nous dépanner certains jours.

Il est mignon, propre, bien équipé.
Il nous manquait 1 chambre car avec 2 adolescents, c etait compliqué de les faire dormir dans le salon. Et il nous a manqué un grille pain pour le petit déjeuner.

Propere en goed onderhouden kleinschalige camping met familiaal karakter. De eigenaren waren erg vriendelijk en geduldig. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig: goed werkende douches, elektriciteit en water bij de plaats en 's ochtends vers brood. Ook voor ontspanning hoef je niet weg van de camping. Tussen de bomen konden we genieten van de heerlijke dennengeur en de vogeltjes die vrolijk floten, en dichtbij kwamen. Er kunnen diverse mooie wandelingen gestart worden meteen aan de camping (bvb naar de watervallen van Tendon). Ook de huifkar en paardrijtocht vlakbij waren heerlijk.

We zaten aan een beekje wat heel rustgevend is. De kinderen vonden het geweldig om daar op ontdekkingstocht te gaan. Onze plek lag helemaal beneden en was ruim, waardoor we wat meer afgezonderd waren en goede privacy genoten. Eén nacht waren er enkele stortbuien (code oranje voor onweer), maar de afwatering werkt prima: dus geen problemen ook op dat vlak.

rustige camping. Rond 23 uur is het stil op de camping, Rond 9 uur pas wat geluiden. Je komt echt tot rust op de camping. Vriendelijk personeel.
Jammer dat je overdag geen pizza/ patat kon halen. Tennisbaan was oud. Bal stuiterde alle kanten op door scheuren in de vloer. Jammer dat er geen verlichting was bij de tennisbaan. pingpongtafel/ volleybalveld, waardoor je na 20.30 uur niet meer kon spelen.

bed lag goed. Voldoende beddengoed/ dekens.
Wasrek was stuk. Douche kon je niet ophangen. Ruimte is te klein voor 4 personen. Wanneer je aan de ronde tafel gaat zitten, kunnen 2 personen niet rechtop zitten door de schuine muur.
