    La struttura

    We’ve been visiting every year for about 25 years and it improves every year. The family invest in improving the site and it’s just about perfect. The pitches are shady, and this is great in the heat of summer. The location on the dordogne means we can swim in the river and relax on the pebble beach. Over the bridge is one of the most beautiful villages in France. The owners are great and know how to help everyone get the most out of the campsite. The owners have found an amazing team of staff to help run the site, shop, bar and restaurant.

    Beaucoup d'espace et de verdure, l'environnement est très agréable. Le service restauration de très bon rapport qualité/prix, ce qui est plutôt rare dans un camping... L'accueil très sympa

    Pour nous le seul point négatif: Les sanitaires. Rien à dire sur la propreté, mais les installations ne sont pas dignes d'un camping 4 étoiles loin de là... Il faut être contorsionniste pour pouvoir entrer dans les toilettes, comme pour les douches. Pas de porte manteau dans les toilettes pour y accrocher un blouson, et un seul dans les douches

    Great location, beautiful view of Dordogne river and Limeuil village,with good facilities in campsite.

    Perhaps a pathway around the camping ground towards river,damp underfoot when going to toilet and shower block.

    Die Lage ist wirklich äußerst schön, Limeuil ist ein zauberhaftes Örtchen und die Dordogne ist an dieser Stelle breit und ruhig und bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Baden, Paddeln, Angeln. Auch das gastronomische Angebot am Campingplatz lädt zum Verweilen ein

    Wir waren auf einem Standardplatz, der zwar sehr groß war, aber bedingt durch die dauerhafte Nutzung keinen Rasenbewuchs mehr hatte. Dann kam der Regen und wir standen leider nur im Matsch.

    La struttura

    Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, es war total unkompliziert. Besonders das Mülltrennsystem hat mich begeistert. Wir bekamen eine sehr große stabile Plastiktasche und einen Biomüllbehälter. Dort konnten wir wunderbar den Mülltrennen und später an die entsprechende Behälter bringen. Dieses System werde ich selber für künftige Reise nutzten. Die entsprechenden Behälter habe ich schon gekauft.

    Der Rasen war nach der langen Saison verständlicher Weise fast weg, so dass es bei einsetztenden Regen doch sehr schlammig wurde. Warscheinlich ganz normal.

    Ich hatte vorweg von riesiegen Stellplätzen gelesen, dass habe ich nicht gesehen. Unser war aber groß genug für den Wohnwagen, das Vorzelt und das Auto. Waren aber mit der ACSI-Card da, der Preis war unschlagbar.

    Beautiful campsite, we were able to pick our own pitch. Huge pitch with water and electric. Facilities were better than many places. Staff were helpful, bar was open and lovely to sit outside and enjoy the peace. Good that pool etc was still open even though it was very near the end of the season. Good location to explore by bicycle. Would recommend to others.

    Only issue we had was the noise and mess caused by a group of German school kids staying in the camping fields. They abused the facilities and were allowed to wander around being noisy very late, and very early. Not the fault of the site, more lack of discipline by the teachers.

    Een prachtige en groene camping met grote plaatsen. Vriendelijke en gastvrij team! Sanitair schoon en heerlijk warm water zonder muntjes.Leuk terras met heerlijke drankjes en eten wat betaalbaar is. Zwembad mooi en de Dordogne langs de camping. Kortom een aanrader!!
